Why this Website?
We started in Tampa Florida, searching for Integrative, Alternative and Functional medical treatments that are specific to the diagnosis and suggested treatments prescribed by our Conventional doctors, that were not always effective. It was time for research and a new perspective on our Health Issues! Especially since Covid 19!
We ventured into the Natural health care information world, a few years ago, where there are new and old research, innovative and proven remedies and treatments. These are deeply rooted in the Natural Medical treatment of our forefathers and documented Eastern medicine and more. Researched Information like; over prescribed Antibiotics, environmental toxins, GMO's, Organic food and environment, Food sprayed with chemicals, Big Pharma, Natural remedies, endless stressed-out work days, social media, EMF's juggling multi-generational families and their care, exercise and so much more. Our lifestyles were spiraling out of control. Our health was declining. Our friends and family are being diagnosed with multiple Chronic health issues and diseases.
After reading and listening to so many podcasts, emails, docu-series, YouTube, text messages and more...on the phone and computer, we found it overwhelming to keep checking all the various messages. There are many doctors and practitioners that have helped patients achieve their optimal health and/or to find their 'old' or 'new' selves through natural treatments, diets, therapies and more. Where to START?
The first question everyone has is: "Where do I start? There is sooo much information out there I don't know whom to believe or whom to follow. There are so many types of diets, exercise, and therapies... Which one is good for?"
Well, the answer is; the Diet, exercise, therapy... that is good for you..
Let's just start with the basic Diet;
TRY to keep a log for a week or two, what you are eating and drinking, even if you are eating out a lot.
Put these foods and drinks on a grocery list.
Take the list and convert those foods to Organic foods and drinks as you shop in an Organic grocery store or local organic farmers market.
See That Wasn't Hard
Try this for a few weeks and you will begin to change your habits naturally. Once you surround yourself with a healthy attitude and healthy choices you will feel good about your diet.
Hopefully, you will educate yourself in the Food Sources of today.
The hard part is giving up what you love. Here are some suggestions to start with:
Try not to eat out that often. Try packing a lunch.
Some of those not so healthy foods are Grains. Eliminate some and learn to cook others in an organic/healthy way.
Look very closely at Beans and the Nightshade vegetables and learn how to avoid them or cook them correctly.
Drink lots of water with natural minerals.
Avoid sugar and read labels
Use BPA free plastic products
FAD diets don't work for everyone, consult a professional.
Encouragement and Coaching; find like-minded friends and family to help.
The best thing is to Educate yourself about YOU! Eat what works for YOU and avoid what gives you problems. Always consult with the Practitioner of your choice. Watch videos, podcasts, etc. especially on the Elimination diet and you will feel and look great in a short time.
