Personal Health Care Planning

Integrative Medicine

is becoming the future of traditional/conventional/allopathic medicine. Focused on healing-oriented medicine that takes account of the whole person (body, mind, and spirit), including all aspects of lifestyle. It emphasizes the therapeutic relationship and makes use of all appropriate therapies, both conventional and alternative.

Functional Medicine

is also the future of traditional/conventional/allopathic medicine. It seeks to identify and address the root causes of chronic illness and disease, and views the body as one integrated system, not a collection of independent organs divided up by medical specialties. It treats the whole body, not just the symptoms.

Alternative Medicine

is the popular name for health care practices that traditionally have not been part of traditional/conventional/allopathic medicine. In many cases, as evidence of efficacy and safety grows, these therapies are being combined with traditional/conventional/allopathic medicine. The term alternative has been replaced with newer terms, like integrative and functional medicine.

Naturopathic Medicine

is a system that uses natural remedies to help the body heal itself. It embraces many therapies, including herbs, massageacupunctureexercise, and nutritional counseling. It combines conventional or traditional treatments with modern science. The goal of naturopathic medicine is to treat the whole person -- that means mind, body, and spirit. It also aims to heal the root causes of illness -- not just stop the symptoms.

Chiropractic Medicine

is a licensed health care profession that emphasizes the body’s ability to heal itself. Treatment typically involves manual therapy, often including spinal manipulation, stretching and other forms of treatment, such as exercise and nutritional counseling, may be used as well.

Restorative Medicine

balances and optimizes the persons overall body chemistry, (mind and spirit), returning the bodies physiology to its natural state so it can heal itself.  Restorative medicine treats the whole person not just symptoms using multiple treatment modalities to include but not limited to; hormone replacement, vitamins and minerals, prp or stem cell injections and more.

Holistic Medicine

is a form of healing that considers the whole person -- body, mind, spirit, and emotions -- in the quest for optimal health and wellness. ... A holistic doctor may use all forms of health care, from conventional medication to alternative therapies, to treat a patient.

Herbal Medicine

is the study of botany and use of plants intended for medicinal purposes. Plants have been the basis for medical treatments through much of human history. Herbal medicine treats the whole person not symptoms.

Integrative, Holistic, Restorative Dentistry

combines the traditional/conventional practices of dentistry, with whole person healing, starting with the teeth.

Integrative and Complementary Medicine is really the key to a healthier America.
